We are now heading into winter, autumn has been so kind with warm and sunny days.

 Today has been a bit damp but did manage a day out with a picnic lunch up at Walhalla  on Thursday. Beautiful colours were in abundance on the trees getting ready to shed their leaves.

Sad to say my little fluffy friend has been missing now for 2 weeks, constantly on the lookout in case he returns home.

 Goodness me how time flies it is nearly Christmas and at long last we have some better weather. Having said that the temp reached 33c here on Sunday and was back down to 13c on Monday!! But today is most pleasant after a damp start.

I always find this time of year rather challenging, having no family here in Australia I am not keen to accept invites to others Christmas get togethers, its almost intrusive. Still there will be Garry and I and of course the fluffy Rupert, he will be 3 this Christmas so 21 in cat years!

Not sure if I will post again before Christmas so will take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year.

A small taste of the garden and of course Rupert!

A little time since my last post but what a lot has happened in that time. Sadly the Queen passed away and we now have a new King, this seems to have affected so many, the Queen was such an amazing lady and will be sadly missed all round the world.

The garden is now showing signs of spring and what a joy that will be after all the months of cold and wet, Rupert is having a wonderful time in the sun!

 

Well what a beautiful spring day today and here waiting for me are a few treasures to be planted to give some summer colour. Of course I had a helper, lazy though rolling in the sun! Life seems so much better when I can be outside pottering in the garden, peace for the soul.

 

 Raining today, not a gentle rain but heaving and driving. the poor birds are hanging onto the tree branches for grim death, just fed the magpies as I am sure they are now nesting....

Rupert has been in all day and is now getting anxious, but he has to stay inside he would drown out there at the moment, feel a bit like Noah's Ark here!!!

Not so much my day today, many requests for

 shopping and other chores.

A little sewing was done after

Rupert Cat was evicted from the sewing room!

 Such fun trying all the fonts, colours and layouts, but I need to download some photos for you, then I will be able tell you a little more about myself.
